Winter (October‑May)  

During winter, the region receives heavy snowfall, and temperatures drop below –10°C. The roads remain closed throughout this period, making Suraj Tal inaccessible.

How to Reach Suraj Tal

By Bus: There are no direct buses. You have to come to Keylong or Jispa and hire a separate taxi.
