Spiti Valley Overview

Our beloved cold desert mountain valley is located in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of Himachal. And before going to explore Spiti valley, we’d want you to know more about the place before visiting the place. So, here’s how your Spiti Valley trip is going to look.

DELHI TO SHIMLA

This is the day when we start our journey to the magnificent “Spiti” from Delhi. Once reaching Shimla, you get to stay at the place and explore it on your own. Take the feel of being a local by roaming around in the market.

TO KALPA FROM SHIMLA

Get yourself ready for the day because we’re finally going to witness the beauty of Kalpa.  The ride to Kalpa is a long one, so take a tip and prepare yourself for the journey by bringing snacks along with you on the way.

FROM KALPA TO TABO

If you’re a nature lover, you know that you’re at the right place. You can have the time of your life by exploring Nako Lake and enroute villages. The plus point is that you not only get to explore Tabo but get to stay here overnight.

MONASTERY DAY

Having stayed at Tabo, we know that you’re curious about the Tabo Monastery. So, definitely visit not only the Tabo monastery but Dhankar monastery as well. The good news is that you’ve finally reached to the place of your dreams, and the superstar of the Spiti trip, Kaza.

HIKKIM, KOMIC & LANGZA

Visiting magnificent places are on our list today, so it is obvious that we visit such as Key Monastery, Hikkim (home to the highest post office in the world, send postcards to your loved ones), Komik, Langza and eat at the highest cafe in the world. And don’t forget about riding to the highest suspension bridge of Asia- the one and only Chicham Bridge.

SHIMLA

And with this our Spiti Valley expedition closes its circuit. Just relax and come back home satisfied with all the memories. We drive to Shimla first which is again a 10-11 hours journey and then an overnight journey by Volvo to Delhi.

CHITKUL

After an amazing experience of the Spiti Valley, the end might seem a bit lazy but there is one more amazing place right around the bend. Chitkul - is another enchanted place of this beautiful land. Has a high-altitude river flowing right beside it. Offers grand views of the nearby mountain peaks. It surely is the highlight of our trip.
