The Akshardham Temple Delhi was built by  Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) under the divine vision of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The construction was began in 2000 and the temple was inaugurated on November 6, 2005, which means it took 5 years to be build.
