The Shri Amarnathji shrine Board (SASB) has officially announced that the Amarnath Yatra 2025 will start on July 03 and finish on August 9, spanning a total of 39 days. This annual pilgrimage attracts lots of Mahadev devotees to the Amarnath falls in Jammu and Kashmir, where a Shiva Lingam (शिवलिंग) is formed naturally by ice once in a year.

    What is the Amarnath Yatra?

The Amarnath Yatra is a significant Hindu pilgrimage that leads devotees to the Amarnath Cave, situated at an altitude of 3,888 metres within the Himalayas. Inside the cave resides a naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam, symbolising Lord Shiva. According to the legend, this is the site in which Lord Shiva revealed the secret of immortality to Goddess Parvati.

When and Where is it Happening?

    • Start Date: 03 July, 2025

    Why is it Important?
