DAY 1 : Arriving at Bagdogra Moving to Phuentsholing

- Transfer to Phuentsholing, Bhutan's border town, begins with a scenic drive.
- The journey takes you through Jaigaon, the final Indian border town before entering Bhutan.
- Upon crossing the border, arrive in Phuentsholing and proceed with permit formalities.
- Check-in at your hotel in Phuentsholing for an overnight stay.
DAY 2 : From Phuentsholing to Thimphu: Journey to the Heart of Bhutan's Capital
- Phuentsholing to Thimphu. Travel to the capital city of Bhutan.
- After breakfast, embark on a journey from Phuentsholing to Thimphu.
- Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way, including forests, waterfalls, villages, and towns.
- Make a stop at Chuzom Bridge to admire the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers.
- See a portrait of the King and Queen, a welcoming sight to Bhutan.
- Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check-in at your hotel.
- If time allows, explore Thimphu, known for being the only city without traffic lights, or visit local markets.
DAY 3 : Visiting Punakha: Passing Through Dochu La STAY AT Thimphu
- Enjoy breakfast and prepare for an excursion to Punakha.
- Travel 75 km east of Thimphu to reach Punakha.
- Stop at Dochu La, a scenic mountain pass, to admire Himalayan views and enjoy tea/coffee.
- Visit the 108 DrukWangyalChortens at the pass, built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers.
- After lunch, embark on a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the temple of fertility, dedicated to Lam Drukpa Kuenley (Divine Mad Man).
DAY 4 : Thimphu Local Sightseeing. Transfer from Thimphu to Paro. Overnight stay in Paro
- Enjoy breakfast and proceed with local sightseeing in Thimphu, including visits to Simply Bhutan and the Buddha Statue.
- After sightseeing, transfer to Paro.
- Upon arrival in Paro, check-in at the hotel.
- Have dinner and spend the night in Paro.
DAY 5 : Paro local sightseeing visit tiger nest.
- After breakfast, visit the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), located 11 km from Paro.
- Drive to the starting point of the hiking trail leading to the monastery.
- Begin the hike through a beautiful pine forest to reach the magnificent Taktsang Monastery.
- The hike takes 2-4 hours, depending on your pace, to reach the monastery perched on a cliff 900 meters above the valley.
- Spend time exploring the monastery, listening to prayers, and meditating in the caves.
- Return journey to Paro after the visit.
DAY 6 : From Paro to Siliguri: Scenic Road Adventure
- Enjoy breakfast and prepare for the return journey from Paro to Siliguri.
- Board transfers for a scenic road trip back to India.
- CrossPhuentsholing border to re-enter India.
- Arrive in Siliguri by evening and check-in at the hotel.
- Relax and spend the night in Siliguri.
DAY 7 : Departure
- Siliguri to Bagdogra Airport.
- After breakfast in the morning, check-out and reach Bagdogra airport (by your own) according to your fight timing.
