It is one of the biggest Buddhist monasteries and therefore has a lot to offer from picturesque Sela pass, Thingbu Hot Spring, and Banggachhang Lake to Awe-inspiring monasteries, which will highly satisfy your soul. Embark on a trip to Tawang for a thrilling and peaceful trip and create memories that will stay with you forever.

The Best Time to Visit Tawang

The best time to visit Tawang is March to October when the weather is pleasant and is best for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The temperature during this period ranges from 10 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius, making it a perfect time to enjoy the lush and vibrant environment with many flowers blooming.

    How to Reach in ?

Tawang is located in the northeastern part of India, near the Indo-China border, getting there from other regions of the nation takes time, particularly if you are not travelling from the central or southern regions. One can reach Tawang in three ways-

    1. By Air- Traveling by plane is the quickest method to get to Tawang. It will take some time, though, because the closest airport is at Tezpur, which is a little far from Tawang.

    2. By Road- Taking a bus or taxi to Tawang is an additional way to get there. If not, you can also choose to get to Tawang by road and train. Even though it takes a while to go to Tawang, the landscape you see along the way makes it entertaining.
