About the Trip

A Retreat program is basically a group getaway where the members of the group take time to bond with people and bond with oneself away from home. The purpose is to take a break from day to day activities and take a look at one's own self. Nature helps to settle the mind effortlessly!

Chandrashila, also known as “Moon Rock” is situated right in the lap of the Himalayas at 12,200 ft. The summit offers exceptional views of the nearby mountain peaks such as Trishul (7,120m), Bandarpunch(6,316m), Nanda Devi(7,816m), Chaukhambha Peaks(7,138m), Hathi Parvat (6,727m), and many more. Tungnath is the highest Lord Shiva Temple in the world and offers a deep insight into the legendary mythology of the Hindu scriptures. It is also a part of the Panch Kedars. Deoriatal Lake is a high-altitude alpine lake surrounded by towering peaks, and lush green forests and is famous among bird-watching communities. According To Hindu Mythology, it is believed that The Hindu Gods & Devas used to come and bathe in the lake.

Itinerary

Day 0: DELHI - DEVPRAYAG - CHOPTA ARRIVAL

We depart from Delhi around 7 PM in an AC Vehicle.
Pit stop at Devprayag – Witness the beautiful Sangam of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda.
Continue the journey towards Chopta

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT CHOPTA | COMMENCEMENT OF THE RETREAT PROGRAM | ACCLIMATIZATION & EXCURSION

Reach Chopta around noon.
Check-in to the camps, Freshen up, lunch will be served
Commence the retreat program.
Acclimatize and later in the evening go for the excursion.
Dinner, fun awaiting and overnight stay at the stay

Day 2: TREK TO TUNGNATH & CHANDRASHILA

Start your day with morning meditation and stretch with Surya Namaskaars.
Go a little deeper with Day 2 of the Retreat program.
Have breakfast, and start your trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila to get the mesmerising view of the sun rising from behind the mountains.
Meditation in the mountains.
From Tungnath is a steep climb to Chandrashila. You are now at Chandrashila peak which means the 'moonrock‘.
Spend your mesmerising time at the Chandrashila peak and later trek down to Chopta by evening.
Come back to yet another amazing night session filled with surprises.
Dinner and Dumb charades are waiting for y’all.

Day 3: CHOPTA | CONCLUSION CEREMONY | DEORITAL | DEPARTURE

Wake up, in between the mighty mountains, have breakfast and get set to conclude the retreat program.

Check out to go back with the impact of change.
Head towards Sari village ( Starting point of Deoria Tal trek ).
From Sari you will start your trek to Deorital, it’s a trek of around 3 kms/1.5 hrs.
Later come back by noon and then depart back to Delhi with having mesmerizing views and lots
of unforgettable memories with you.

Day 4: REACH DELHI IN THE MORNING

Reach back to Delhi in the morning
And remember the beautiful bonds and memories.
