Ladakh is a once in a lifetime experience which not many get to experience! It’s always written in the stars for such extravagant trips where the journey is equally important as the destination! I took a 7-day trip to Meghalaya and Kaziranga with Capture A Trip from December 25 to December 31, 2024. The accommodations were excellent, with cozy rooms and beautiful views that truly captured the essence of Meghalaya. The food was delicious, varied, and always satisfying! The local flavors added a special touch to the trip. Our trip captain, Masoom Raza, was the heart and soul of our trip! His energy, enthusiasm, and constant support made every moment memorable. From organizing everything seamlessly to ensuring we were all comfortable, he was nothing short of exceptional. Masoom’s encouragement and motivation truly pushed us beyond our limits. The double decker root bridge trek, cliff jump in Dawki and swim in the serene Blue lagoon—experiences I never imagined I’d conquer—became possible thanks to his inspiring words and guidance. His positive vibe kept the group lively and connected throughout the journey. My destination with Capture A Trip was Meghalaya. I have opted for a group tour package for 7D/6N. I am pretty impressed with all the accomodations (the best in the budget - it was like a 4 star accommodation), decent food and hassle free planning of the team. We had also done camping at Dawki riverside. Food and stay arrangements were pretty decent. Our trip captain Masoom Raza was one amazing soul, he has taken extreme care of each one of us, he always ensured we never had a dull moment and kept us entertained throughout the trip. I'm thankful to Capture A Trip as I have met and known the group of 20 people from different backgrounds and regions across India. It was wonderful creating memories with them. Places covered in the itinerary - Kaziranga safari, Laitlum grand canyon, Lyngksiar waterfalls, Double decker living root bridge, blue lagoon, Mawsmai caves, Krang shuri waterfalls, Dawki/Umngot river camping and water activities - cliff jumping, kayaking and boating, Umiam Lake and on request if time permits they allow you to have darshan at Kamakhya devi temple on the last day.
